Not your typical place but good for a night

The staff was very helpful and kind even though they seemed overworked. The room was large and clean, and the bed was super comfortable.

It was a bit pricey but still fine for what we got.

Comfortable room, clean bathroom, complete with a mini fridge and coffee maker, made for a pleasant stay. the great continental breakfast featuring hot eggs and sausage ensured we started our day right.

Only issue was that it’s an older facility showing some age.

This place was a prime choice for a swift stopover in Mattoon with good price-quality ratio. The check-in was quick even without having a reservation. Make sure to bring extra towels, as they can run out fast.

i had a nice stay at quality inn. the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's rest. the first-floor room provided easy access for my pet, which is a huge plus. i also enjoyed the fitness center and was glad to see a seasonal pool available for use.

More accessible elevators would be helpful for seniors.

During my stay, the elevator access was pretty frustrating—it felt odd for a hotel to have only one working elevator, especially when dragging bags up flights of stairs. I also noticed some areas of the hotel could use a serious update. the decor looked dated and a bit worn. While some aspects of the breakfast were satisfactory, the coffee left much to be desired and could seriously use an upgrade. Additionally, I caught a whiff of something potentially unpleasant coming from the neighboring room that slightly dampened the experience.

The staff was friendly, but they seemed stretched thin, leading to delays in service. Overall, it had its perks, but attention to housekeeping needs improvement.
